Why this site exists
Most crypto platform comparisons are affiliate directories with a scoring column bolted on. The ranking moves when the commission moves, the fee tables are copied from a press kit, and nobody says which entity is actually holding your coins.
Millenex takes the opposite approach. Every review starts from the platform's own published fee schedule, terms of service and security documentation, read at the time of writing. Where a platform does not publish something — a reserve attestation, a withdrawal limit, the legal entity behind a regional site — that absence is treated as a finding, not a gap to fill with guesswork.
What gets reviewed
The library covers the products a reader can actually sign up for today: centralised exchanges, derivatives venues, on-chain swap protocols, hardware and software wallets, beginner apps, analytics terminals and tax tools.
- Every product has a live official website that anyone can visit.
- Screenshots are captured from that site, not from a stock library.
- Nothing is added to the library because a company asked for it.
- Products that shut down or stop serving retail users are removed, not quietly left in the ranking.
Who writes it
Reviews are produced by the Millenex research desk. Drafting tools are used for structure and copy editing; the fee figures, custody arrangements and product limits in every review are checked against the source before publication, and a named editor is accountable for each page.
How we are funded
The site carries no paid placements and no sponsored reviews. Where an outbound link to a reviewed platform exists, it is marked nofollow and does not change a score, a rank or a verdict. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page before it appears anywhere else.
